Drone Pilot, Mechanical Engineer Intern - Tyler, TX

As an intern with System Engineering And Laboratories (SEAL) for two years, David has earned an Associate’s Degree in General Studies while pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Some of David’s practical achievements at SEAL have been licensure as a drone operator in accordance with the Federal Aviation, licensure as a Private Investigator (PI), and he is currently preparing to be fully certified as a fire investigator.

David has served in the Army as an active-duty paratrooper with a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 91B All Wheel Mechanic.  Having served honorably at home and abroad with several combat tours, David developed an exceptional ability to think critically and apply his acquired talents to the organization’s needs, safely and effectively.

David’s education in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) with the mentorship of SEAL’s engineers provides him a unique opportunity to gain experience on the job and contribute to SEAL’s vast knowledge in the various subsets of investigation.  David seeks knowledge in any environment with a strong will to improve and advance in the field of engineering.

David enjoys fishing all year round and enjoys camping during the cold seasons.  He is accompanied by his service companion, Hoss (Labrador/Branch Manager), who performs several proprietary tasks related to the welfare of David and works part-time as SEAL’s security hound.
