Accident investigators use industry standard tools such as laser scanners, total stations, and photography to gather measurable data. These tools and methods can often take a lot of time and require personnel to be trained in surveying. SEAL also incorporates the use of drones to enable data collection over larger areas at a faster rate. Being able to produce a model to help describe an accident scene to a jury is important. However, drones can capture details at the accident scene such as skid marks and impact angles that are essential in determining cause and fault. This type of measurable data can be even more important in describing the scene to a jury.
Structural, Oilfield, And Fire Inspections
Roofing and structural inspections for homes, industrial structures can pose dangerous, costly, and time-consuming challenges. Drones can safely access hard-to-reach roof and structural components and provide a thorough analysis. Drones are also well suited for the mapping and inspection of oilfield assets before and after an onsite accident. Investigating the origin and cause of a fire scene sometimes requires a different perspective. Drones can capture the birds-eye view of residential or commercial fires or explosions quickly and efficiently.
Aircraft
Manned Flight
SEAL owns a high-performance airplane for short to mid-range trips. This is great for flying in and out of small regional airports that are near investigative sites.
Storage Or Passengers
The airplane has a large area that can be used for storage or up to six passengers or a combination of both. The cruising speed of this plane, at almost 200 miles-per-hour and a non-stop range of approximately twelve-hundred miles, can get SEAL engineers and equipment to a remote site quickly including emergency situations.

Dear Mr. Johnson
I appreciate you as well as Mr. Gary Jackson from your office taking the time to inspect the accident site with me yesterday. Your professional assistance in this unfortunate matter remains truly appreciated.
I want to let you know how much I appreciated your prompt response after the crane accident. Your assistance and services were invaluable. Brian and Kurt:
We wanted to let you both know that the case settled this week. Your work was instrumental in moving the case to resolution and we appreciate your assistance in getting here. We look forward to working with you in the future.
I met with Mr. Gary Jackson and Mr. Greig Latham today, and I appreciate you guys making it out this quickly, I was very impressed.
I just wanted to say thank you for appearing as an expert witness of the trial. Your testimony was very helpful. FYI – the jury brought back a plaintiff’s verdict for $3.8 million. Huge win.
I wanted to let you know that I was able to review my claim with a **** supervisor this morning, and he ruled the decision in my favor. The deciding factor that convinced him to overrule company policy (requiring their own inspection of the physical evidence)
was your report. I can't tell you how grateful I am for your work.
